Are You Excited?

"Are you excited?" While the leaving time is coming around, more and more people like to ask me this same question when I told them I was going to California, "Wow! Awesome!~~ Are you excited?" Well, to be frank...I dont know.

More than two months ago, when I was told that I was given the offer during onsite, I was really really excited about it, excited at all that about sunshine, Asian market, sea food, coastal area life, and a job! But it lasted only for two days.

Last week in a phone call with my Mom, she asked me the same question and I was telling the truth. I found that it's kinda very complicated sensation, a total mixture of expectation, excitement, afraid, happiness, and a bit of LOST! But I know it is good for me, good for a person who is always looking forward to challenges and changes in life. And I am no longer a kid who is always being emotionally aroused to new things. I am prepared, prepared to be stunning to myself.

What's more, I realize that I am a sentimental guy,and sentimental kills!

Nothing about Swing

I am not talking about the Swing with Java Gui, but the Swing dance.

While I was waiting to meet with my committee members this afternoon, I saw a flyer "Come and Dance" by the Swing associate of our school, perhaps one club. One of my committee member laughed: I 've been seeing this post for more than twenty years, and I 've been talking to myself I would like to go and swing, yehhh, for more than that twenty years, but..I just never go. "

Well, that's really what happens to everybody. We are getting used to have a lot of dreams or ideas, and we are also getting used to let the dreams always be dreams. So, what's on my list? Should I add one more on it: do all these wishes, and let dreams come true!?

LOST is Comming Back Tonight

I need to refresh the memory before the premiere tonight. But still the bad thing with LOST is that it is always leaving audiences hanging--Only six episodes this year for season III and the rest will be on air some time next year. Fortunately the ongoing Grey is not playing this trick as least for this entire season.

As to the other shows I am watching, I' ll quit "Vanished", not only because of Gale's potential death in last night's episode, but also because I am no longer feeling that puzzle interesting. And I believe all the Gale's die hard fans will get VANISHED if they did in fact kill him off. The most interesting thing is that the new character going to take place Gale, Eddie Cibrian is known for being on every cancelled show... :-). So may I predicate that Fox will drop it just like that Invasion. But if Gale is back next week, maybe they will forgive Fox, absolutely!

Day One: A Promise

What would be the first post for my new blog? Emmmm... well, how about a promise? Here is a poem I used to read a lot and love a lot.

*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

I Promised Myself
- by Christina D. Larson.

Today and everyday of my eternal life, I promise myself to be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet.

To make my friends feel that there is something beautiful in each one of them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.

To think only the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.

To forgive and forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievement of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature I meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of myself that I have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, too happy to permit the presence of trouble. And so it is!"
